Instructions:

  1. Place the 16 oz full fat sour cream and 0.5 cup high-quality mayonnaise into your chilled mixing bowl.
  2. Add the 2 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tbsp dried parsley. Whisk until the powders are no longer visible.
  3. Sprinkle in the 0.5 tsp fine sea salt and 0.5 tsp freshly cracked black pepper.
  4. Pour in the 1 tsp fresh lemon juice.
  5. Using your spatula, fold the mixture from the bottom up. Stop once the texture looks uniform and silky.
  6. Cover tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it down onto the surface of the dip to prevent a skin from forming.
  7. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Wait until the color deepens slightly to a pale cream.
  8. Give it one last gentle fold before serving.
  9. Transfer to a clean bowl if you're feeling fancy, and surround it with thick, ruffled chips.
