Instructions:
- Place the 16 oz full fat sour cream and 0.5 cup high-quality mayonnaise into your chilled mixing bowl.
- Add the 2 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tbsp dried parsley. Whisk until the powders are no longer visible.
- Sprinkle in the 0.5 tsp fine sea salt and 0.5 tsp freshly cracked black pepper.
- Pour in the 1 tsp fresh lemon juice.
- Using your spatula, fold the mixture from the bottom up. Stop once the texture looks uniform and silky.
- Cover tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it down onto the surface of the dip to prevent a skin from forming.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Wait until the color deepens slightly to a pale cream.
- Give it one last gentle fold before serving.
- Transfer to a clean bowl if you're feeling fancy, and surround it with thick, ruffled chips.
