Ingredients:
- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch pan with butter or non stick spray.
- Empty 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix into a large mixing bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 1 tsp pure vanilla extract to the dry mix.
- Crack 2 large eggs into the bowl.
- Stir the mixture with a spatula until a thick, glossy batter forms.
- Fold in 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 tsp sea salt gently.
- Spread the batter into your prepared pan using the back of a spoon to level it.
- Bake for 22 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is crackly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan.
