Ingredients:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) Yellow Cake Mix
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup (118ml) Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup (170g) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the two eggs and the vegetable oil together until fully combined and emulsified.
  3. Add the dry yellow cake mix to the egg mixture. Using a sturdy silicone spatula or wooden spoon, stir until a thick, tacky dough forms.
  4. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the thick batter.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared 9x13 pan.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into 24 bars.
