Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2.5 cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp semolina flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp non-fat dry milk powder
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp dried basil
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add bread flour, semolina flour, 1 tsp salt, and dry milk powder. Using a dough hook, knead on low speed for 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Pour 3 tbsp vegetable oil into a 9x13 inch metal baking pan, coating the bottom and sides thoroughly.
  4. Transfer dough to the pan. Gently stretch it to the edges. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 60 minutes until doubled in height.
  5. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Use a pizza cutter to score the dough into 12 sticks, cutting about halfway through.
  6. Mix melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, basil, onion powder, and remaining 0.5 tsp salt. Brush half of the mixture onto the dough.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the bottom is golden-brown and crispy and the tops are lightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately brush with the remaining butter seasoning. Serve warm.
