Ingredients:

  • 4 large ripe peaches (approx. 2 lbs / 900g), halved and pitted
  • 4 tbsp (56g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp (50g) dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp (0.75g) salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits, then place the halves cut-side up in a 9x13-inch baking dish, ensuring they are nestled snugly.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until a smooth, dark paste forms.
  3. Spoon exactly 1 teaspoon of the glaze mixture into the center of each peach cavity, smoothing it slightly with the back of the spoon.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the butter is bubbling and the edges of the peaches are softened and translucent.
