Ingredients:

  • 9 cups (240g) Corn or Rice Cereal
  • 1.5 cups (150g) Mini Pretzels
  • 1 cup (150g) Red and Green M&Ms
  • 1.5 cups (255g) White Chocolate Chips
  • 0.5 cup (128g) Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 0.25 cup (57g) Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 0.25 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 1.5 cups (188g) Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereal and mini pretzels. Toss gently by hand to avoid crushing the cereal lattice.
  2. In a microwave-safe medium bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, and unsalted butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
  3. Stir the vanilla extract and fine sea salt into the melted chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the cereal and pretzels. Using a rubber spatula, fold gently from the bottom up until every piece is thoroughly coated.
  5. Sift half of the powdered sugar into a 2-gallon zip-top bag. Add the coated cereal mixture, then sift the remaining powdered sugar over the top. Seal and shake vigorously until the mix is evenly 'snow-covered'.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow it to set at room temperature for 30 minutes until the coating is firm and snappy.
  7. Fold in the festive red and green M&Ms before serving or storing in an airtight container.
