Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Frozen Strawberries (for glaze)
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup or Honey (for glaze)
- 1 Tbsp Filtered Water or Almond Milk (for glaze)
- 1 cup Frozen Strawberries (for base)
- 2 medium Dates, pitted (Medjool preferred)
- 1 Tbsp Cashew Butter (unsalted, smooth)
- 1/4 small Avocado (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup Almond Milk (unsweetened)
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch Sea Salt
- 1 scoop Marine Collagen Powder (optional)
- 1 pipette full Hyaluronic Acid Liquid (optional, food-grade HA)
- 1 Tbsp Sea Moss Gel (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Strawberry Glaze: Combine the Glaze ingredients (1/4 cup frozen strawberries, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1 Tbsp water) in a small blender cup or a sturdy mug using an immersion blender. Blend until a thick, pourable, slightly chunky sauce forms. If too thick, add water a teaspoon at a time.
- Coat the Glass: Using a spoon, carefully paint or drizzle the strawberry glaze along the interior sides of your chosen tall glass. Ensure the glaze covers the sides but pools only slightly at the bottom.
- Chill: Place the coated glass in the freezer for 2–3 minutes while you prepare the smoothie base. This helps set the glaze.
- Load the Blender: Add all ingredients from the Smoothie Base section (1 cup Frozen Strawberries, 2 pitted Dates, 1 Tbsp Cashew Butter, 1/4 small Avocado, 1 cup Almond Milk, 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract, Pinch Sea Salt) and the Skin Boosters section (Collagen, HA, Sea Moss) into the high-powered blender jar.
- Blend: Start blending on low, quickly increasing the speed to high. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth, thick, and creamy. Stop once or twice to scrape down the sides if necessary.
- Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick to blend, add almond milk, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) at a time, until the blender moves freely.
- Pour: Carefully pour the thick smoothie base into the chilled, glaze-coated glass. Pour slowly to avoid disturbing the glaze lining the sides.
- Garnish and Serve: For a final flourish, consider topping the smoothie with a few thin slices of fresh strawberry or a tiny drizzle of remaining glaze. Serve immediately with a wide straw or spoon.
