  • 2 tablespoons (30g) sweet pickle relish
  • 1.5 teaspoons (7g) yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (4g) granulated sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard. Whisk until the color is a uniform, pale salmon pink.
  2. Fold in the sweet pickle relish, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the base.
  3. Add the white vinegar, granulated sugar, and black pepper. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved and the sauce is smooth.
  4. For the most authentic flavor, cover and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Give the sauce a final stir and adjust consistency with a few drops of water or vinegar if needed before serving.
