- 2 tablespoons (30g) sweet pickle relish
- 1.5 teaspoons (7g) yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon (4g) granulated sugar
- 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard. Whisk until the color is a uniform, pale salmon pink.
- Fold in the sweet pickle relish, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the base.
- Add the white vinegar, granulated sugar, and black pepper. Stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved and the sauce is smooth.
- For the most authentic flavor, cover and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Give the sauce a final stir and adjust consistency with a few drops of water or vinegar if needed before serving.
