Ingredients:
- 8 oz full-fat block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce (zero added sugar)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups hand-shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese, frozen for 5 minutes
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened full-fat block cream cheese, sour cream, and buffalo hot sauce with zero added sugar. Beat with a spatula or hand mixer until the mixture is mahogany-colored and completely smooth.
- Gently fold in the hand-shredded rotisserie chicken, garlic powder, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into an 8x8 inch baking dish or 1-quart oven-safe skillet, smoothing the top with a spoon. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar and the frozen blue cheese crumbles evenly over the surface.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and edges are golden-brown. Optional: Broil for the final 60 seconds for a crispier crust.
- Remove from the oven, let sit for 3 minutes to stabilize the fats, and garnish with sliced fresh chives before serving.
