Ingredients:
- 4 large ripe peaches, sliced into wedges (900g)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (28g)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed (50g)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (1g)
- 1 pinch salt (0.5g)
- 1 pint vanilla bean ice cream (473ml)
Instructions:
- Wash the peaches and slice them into uniform wedges (about 6-8 slices per peach) to ensure even caramelization.
- Melt the butter over medium-high heat in a large non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan until it begins to foam.
- Add the peach wedges, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to the pan. Stir gently for 3-5 minutes until the peaches soften and the sauce thickens into a bubbling, golden glaze.
- Immediately spoon the hot peaches into chilled bowls and place a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
