Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) Fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp (5ml) Agave nectar
- 1 pinch flaky sea salt
- 3 oz (90ml) Vodka
- 1 can (12 oz / 355ml) Olipop Strawberry Vanilla
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- 2 Whole strawberries for garnish
- 2 sprigs Fresh mint
Instructions:
- Place your sliced strawberries in a sturdy glass or shaker.
- Add the agave nectar and the pinch of sea salt over the fruit. Let it sit for 30 seconds to let the salt start working.
- Use a muddler or wooden spoon to crush the berries until they look like a chunky puree.
- Pour in the lime juice and the orange bitters.
- Add the vodka to the fruit mixture.
- Add a handful of ice to the shaker and shake for 10 seconds until the outside of the container feels frosty.
- Pour through a fine mesh sieve into two glasses filled with fresh ice. Note: This keeps the seeds and pulp out for a smoother mouthfeel.
- Top each glass with the Olipop Strawberry Vanilla, pouring slowly.
- Clap the mint sprigs between your hands to release the oils, then tuck them into the glass.
- Slide a whole strawberry onto the rim and serve immediately.
