Ingredients:

  • 12 thick pretzel rods (approx. 170g)
  • 1.5 cups high-quality dark chocolate melting wafers (250g)
  • 0.5 cup white or pink candy melts (85g)
  • 1 tsp refined coconut oil, divided (5ml)
  • 2 tbsp Valentine-themed sprinkles (30g)
  • 1 tbsp freeze-dried raspberry dust (15g)

Instructions:

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Ensure the kitchen environment is cool to allow for proper chocolate setting.
  2. Combine dark chocolate wafers and 0.5 tsp coconut oil in a tall microwave-safe glass. Heat in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring vigorously between each until smooth.
  3. Submerge a pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, leaving 2 inches at the bottom for a handle. Lift and gently tap your wrist to shake off excess chocolate.
  4. Place the coated rod on the parchment paper. Repeat for all rods and allow them to set completely.
  5. Melt the white or pink candy melts with the remaining 0.5 tsp coconut oil. Drizzle over the set pretzels using a fork or piping bag, then immediately apply sprinkles and raspberry dust.
