Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, firm with stems intact
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp refined coconut oil
- 2 oz white chocolate
Instructions:
- Wash strawberries under cold water. Individually dry each berry with paper towels and let them air-dry for 30 minutes until the skin feels completely matte and bone dry.
- In a microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until mostly melted with a few small lumps remaining. Stir until the remaining pieces melt from residual heat.
- Hold a strawberry by the green stem and pull the leaves back. Dip into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat up to the shoulder. Lift and shake gently to remove excess chocolate.
- Place the dipped berry onto parchment paper. Repeat with remaining berries.
- Melt white chocolate in a separate bowl. Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle over the base coating. Allow to set in a cool, dry place until a delicate pattern forms.
